Orta Clinic Service Terms of Use
- Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of this agreement is to stipulate matters regarding the use of services (hereinafter referred to as "Services") such as reservations and information provision provided on the internet homepage of Orta Clinic (hereinafter referred to as the "Clinic Homepage").
- Article 2 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)
- 1. The Clinic posts these terms on its homepage for users to view.
- 2. The Clinic may amend these terms if unavoidable circumstances arise, as long as the amendment does not violate applicable laws.
- 3. If the Clinic amends the terms, it will specify the effective date and reason for amendment on the main page of the homepage, posting it from 7 days prior to the effective date until the day before the effective date. However, if the amendment is unfavorable to users, the notice period will be 30 days before the effective date.
- Article 3 (Interpretation of Terms)
Matters not specified in these terms and the interpretation of these terms will be governed by applicable laws or standard commercial practices.
- Article 4 (Contents and Changes to Services)
- 1. The Clinic provides the following services through the Clinic Homepage:
- Clinic introduction, information on medical staff and appointment schedules
- Appointment booking services
- Health information services
- Community and bulletin board services
- Other services as determined by the Clinic
- 2. The Clinic may change or discontinue the contents of the services it provides if unavoidable circumstances arise.
- 3. The Clinic is not liable for any damages users incur due to changes in service content. However, this does not apply in cases of intentional or gross negligence by the Clinic.
- Article 5 (Suspension of Services)
- 1. The Clinic may temporarily suspend service provision due to system maintenance, replacement or failure, communication interruptions, or other force majeure events.
- 2. The Clinic is not liable for any damages to users or third parties caused by the temporary suspension of services for the reasons mentioned in Section 1. However, this does not apply in cases of intentional or gross negligence by the Clinic.
- Article 6 (Notifications)
- 1. The Clinic may notify users through contact information provided by the user.
- 2. For notifications to an unspecified large number of users, the Clinic may replace individual notifications by posting on the bulletin board.
- Article 7 (Application and Formation of Appointment Reservations)
- 1. Users may apply for appointment reservations on the Clinic Homepage by the following methods:
- Selecting a reservation date and time
- Entering name and phone number
- Agreeing to the collection and use of personal information
- 2. The Clinic will accept the reservation application unless any of the following conditions are met:
- If the application contains false information, missing information, or errors
- If the user uses the Clinic Homepage for illegal activities, disrupts the Clinic's operations, infringes on third-party rights, or otherwise violates social norms
- If technical or other reasons make it difficult to accept the reservation application
- 3. A reservation is considered established when a confirmation message is displayed to the user on the reservation process screen of the homepage.
- Article 8 (Consultation and Content Provision Services)
- 1. The Clinic strives to maintain the security of user consultation content and prevent it from being disclosed to third parties.
- 2. Consultation requests may be declined in the following cases:
- If the same content is requested repeatedly
- If the consultation request violates laws, social norms, or these terms
- Article 9 (Provision of Health Information Services)
- 1. Health information provided by the Clinic is general and broad, reflecting individual opinions, and does not replace professional medical diagnosis, treatment, or advice.
- 2. The Clinic does not endorse or guarantee any specific examination, product, or treatment method.
- Article 10 (User Obligations)
- 1. Users shall not engage in the following activities:
- Registering false information
- Infringing the intellectual property rights of the Clinic or third parties
- Damaging the reputation of the Clinic or third parties or disrupting business operations
- Posting or displaying obscene or violent messages, images, or other content contrary to public order and morals
- Providing or brokering health consultation or diagnosis for other users
- Promoting commercial activities
- Selling or brokering the sale of products or services
- Engaging in other activities deemed inappropriate by the Clinic
- 2. If any information listed in Section 1 or any other information deemed inappropriate for site operation is posted on the Clinic Homepage, the Clinic may delete, suspend, or take other necessary actions on such information without the consent of the user or poster.
- Article 11 (Intellectual Property Rights and Use Restrictions)
- 1. Intellectual property rights for content created by the Clinic on the Clinic Homepage or other web pages or social media accounts operated by the Clinic belong to the Clinic.
- 2. Users may not distribute or modify the Clinic's content without permission, which would constitute an infringement of the Clinic's copyrights.
- Article 12 (Dispute Resolution)
- 1. Disputes regarding service use under these terms shall be resolved by agreement between the parties.
- 2. If a complaint or opinion submitted by the user is deemed legitimate, the Clinic will handle it as a priority. If prompt processing is difficult, the Clinic will promptly notify the user of the reason and processing schedule.
- Article 13 (Governing Law)
The legal relationship between the Clinic and users shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
- Article 14 (Application of Terms)
These terms shall apply from November 13, 2024.
